Cookies
My mom used to make the best cookies you could ever imagine. She called them monster cookies, for reasons at the time I thought were because they were huge cookies. Now I know different.
She and I would spend hours mixing, mashing, measuring, and making huge batches of the things. We’d take a huge gallon size bowl and pour the pounds of m and m’s, peanut butter, oatmeal, sugar, flour, vanilla all together then have at it. It would be so thick and such a massive amount I even remember breaking a couple wooden spoons mixing it up.
It’s been a few years, but my mom just brought a huge batch to me the other day. If you’ve never had a monster cookie then you really haven’t lived a full life. They are about the best cookies you can sink your teeth into.
I will have to say that one monster cookie has enough calories to supply a 200 pound person for an entire day. They’re so worth the calories though. If you at a whole batch, besides probably making you sick to your stomach would be enough to give you a full set of love handles. You might even need to take some Acceletrim to get rid of the few extra pounds you put on.
Those times with my mom making those cookies in the kitchen are some of the best memories that I have. Licking fingers, stirring batter, covered in flour, just having a good time.
It’s defiantly a recipe that I will be passing on to my family for generations to come. Everyone loves monster cookies no matter how young, or how old.
