College
This story is about three high school friends and the problems they face to make a short film for their college prospective submission. The three guys’ names are Matt, Stiffler and Jim. They are in the Ithaca Central High School at the moment and they need this short film to be the best in the business if they want their chances of getting the graduation cap diploma and the full academic scholarship to the University of Ithaca.
The graduation cap diploma ceremony is also important to them as they are filming a scene from in it into their short film. Matt has landed a deal with a local animation agent who is going to animate the graduation cap diploma ceremony and turn into a cartoon phase for the short film. On the day of graduation the animation guy, James Pool animation didn’t turn up and Matt and Stiffler had to do it by themselves while Jim shot the live feed. This was a big disappointment for the three boys as they wanted this seen in their movie and without this scene properly done it would be very difficult for them to win the team academic full scholarship into the Ithaca University. They listened to the speech of the Principal and suddenly Jim had an idea. They asked Jim’s mom to film them as they walked the ramp to collect their diplomas and then they would later take it to Pool animations and get it done there.
Though Jim’s mother was an amateur at taking shots she took the film and the shaky video only helped the film look more authentic. In this way the young boys from Ithaca crossed the hurdle on their graduation cap diploma day. The next day after assembling the entire shot on video, went to Pool animations. They realized that the animator couldn’t come the previous day due to the fact that he had fractured his leg in the bathroom early in the morning. He had not come back to the studio too. Jim, Stiffler and Matt decided to do the animation by themselves. Though it was tough at first they kept the principals graduation cap diploma ceremony words in mind “Victory belongs to those who believe in it the most” and continued with added fervor and aimed to resolve the problem in time for their video submission.
While submitting the project the tester asked them the name of the video and why they were inspired to take that name. The three boys replied in unison graduation cap diploma. And you have just read their inspiration for that title of their short film.
