Everest Poker is at it again with their biggest promotion to date: Live the Dream. On September 21st Everest Poker will be giving 10 lucky online poker players the chance to live the life of a poker professional. The 10 chosen ones will then travel the world playing in the biggest online poker tournaments as well as earn a year’s sponsorship from the site and a 100k deal. Instead of sponsoring big name poker players, Everest selects its players from within its own community. In order to qualify players can earn their way to the finals in January one of three ways. First, one can qualify through the Sit-N-Go leaderboards. Or if that’s not your thing, there’s always the ring game leaderboard. For those who want to jump right in, this year Everest will be offering a direct buy in. This way the whole spectrum of players can be represented from the grinders to the high rollers. Only 200 players will go on to the finals, however, which will be held live at the end of January at the Palais Auersberg in Vienna. Out of these 200, ten will be chosen to represent Everest poker. The finals itself will be a qualification of sorts as well. Players will be scored on a scale of 0-100 broken down into three categories. 55 total points can be earned for sheer poker skills. 25 points will be awarded by the Everest player community, and the final 20 will be given out by judges through live interviews in Vienna.
